An Update On My Dad

For those who don’t know, my father was involved in an accident yesterday in the early evening. He was rear ended on the freeway.

He suffered a fractured vertebrae and was taken to surgery this morning. The surgery took about 6 hours and they were able to fuse his vertebrae so they could alleviate the pressure that was on his spinal cord.

We expect him to be in the hospital for about a week but according to the surgeon, it’s going to be a long recovery.

Our family is a family of faith and believe that he will make a complete recovery. All we’re asking for is your continued prayers.

Una actualización de mi padre

Para los que no lo saben, mi padre tuvo un accidente ayer por la tarde. Fue un accidente en la autopista.

Sufrió una fractura en su vértebras y fue llevado a cirugía esta mañana. La operación duró unas 6 horas y pudieron fusionar sus vértebras para aliviar la presión sobre su médula espinal.

Esperamos que esté en el hospital durante una semana, pero según el cirujano, será una larga recuperación.

Nuestra familia es una familia de fe y creemos que se recuperará completamente. Todo lo que pedimos es que continúen orando.
